Late Tuesday evening, the juniors and seniors battled it out in a flag football game and a cheer off.

After weeks of preparation, students, as well as faculty, believed the seniors would triumph. That’s how it had turned out so many times in the past. During the entire game, it appeared to be true. The seniors led 6-0 for two whole quarters, with senior Syann Timmons scoring a touchdown. However, in the last ten seconds of the game, junior Alexis Karosas reached the end zone at the very last second, tying the game 6-6.

So for the first time since anyone can remember, the powderpuff game ended in a tie.
