Victoria Konsavage has always been drawn to the water. At five years old, she began swimming at the YMCA. Recently, that love translated to her representing Santaluces at District and Regional competitions.
Although she is only a sophomore, Konsavage is already facing district and regional opponents. At Districts, she swam the 50 Free and the 100 Butterfly. She not only qualified to compete in the Regional Competition, she also beat out her competitors. She ranked 4th and 9th in the 50 Free, with a time of 25.77, and 7th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:01.45.
“It was crazy,” said Konsavage. “It was an amazing feeling and I’m so excited to do better next year.”
Konsavage also competes year-long for East Coast Aquatics at the Casino Pool in Lake Worth. She thanked Coach Johnson and her teammates for their support.
“Coach Johnson is one of the most important people in my life,” said Konsavage. “She is amazing, positive, and very encouraging and never lets me give up.”
