This past weekend the annual christmas classic took place at Santaluces. This year, the tournament was bigger than ever before, having twenty-six schools wrestle in it. The schools came as far north as Martin Country to as far south as Miami, all trying to wrestle their way into the finals.

Caridnal Gibbons placed first in the tournament receiving 226.00 team points. Santaluces placed eighth in the tournament receiving 89.50 team points. The chiefs all wrestled hard and never gave up during their match. Mike Medio, 126 weight class, placed first in the tournament receiving a medal and a large backed sheet.
