Tonight I had the chance to watch the Santaluces Chiefs play on homecoming night against the Lake Worth Trojans, and let me tell you, it was a brutal game to watch. The game ended 42-13 with a Chiefs victory. Our junior QB, Jaxson Mariconi, had six passing touchdowns with 204 passing yards. Our sophomore WR, Jarmell Sine, scored two touchdowns; our freshman WR, Brett Boston, also scored two; our senior WR, Lenard La Antoinie, added one; and finally, our junior RB, Kelsey Gerald Gerald, scored one as well. We can’t forget our junior kicker, Cristian Clavijo, who made every extra point after each touchdown. The score was 21-0 in the first quarter before Lake Worth scored a touchdown, making it 21-7. We answered back with another three touchdowns, bringing it to 42-7, and Lake Worth scored once more, ending the game with 42-13. The Chiefs took the win and became district champs!
