On Monday, January 12th, our Lady Chief’s basketball team went against the Wellington girls basketball team. Our Chiefs started the game strong, with both teams playing well on offense and defense. Both teams matched each other’s energy, making it a competitive game from the tip. By halftime, the score was tied! Coming out of half-time, our Chiefs girls struggled to stay focused and locked in, and we started losing our momentum. However, we still fought hard and never gave up! Despite the effort, we weren’t able to close the gap in time and ended up losing by 9 points. What a performance from both teams that night! The final score was 28-37.
