I recently had the chance to interview Santaluces student David Vega-Garcia. I asked him the following questions:

- What do you like best about Santaluces?

- If you could go back to your freshman year, what would you tell yourself?

A: “I enjoy playing and watching the sports here.”
Q3.What are some of your favorite classes?
A: “Lunch.”
Q4.Do you participate in any clubs or sports? Which ones?
A: “Yes, I play basketball and volleyball.”
Q5.What are some of your favorite memories of Santaluces?
A: “Definitely being with my friends for the pep rallies were some great memories for me.”
Q6. If you could go back to your freshman year, what would you tell yourself?
A: “Lock in.”

A: ” I have been playing both of my sports here at Santaluces since Freshman year.”
Q8.What do you love most about it?
A: “I love the competitiveness that comes with playing and I also enjoy bonding and playing with my teammates.”
Q9.What advice would you give to incoming freshmen who want to play high school sports?
A: “Lock in.”
Q10.What are some of your hobbies outside of school?
A: “Some of my hobbies after school are going to the park to play basketball and watching Netflix.”
Q11.What are you most excited about this school year?
A: “What I’m most excited about this school year is definitely playing Varsity basketball since it’s a whole different atmosphere compared to JV.”
