“Baking is such a fun activity. It’s a hobby for me. I like when people eat my food and I see how happy they get. They smile, they say it tastes good, and that makes me happy. I bake cookies mostly, almost every day. I like baking because my brother loves sweets. He has a huge sweet tooth. He doesn’t know how to bake, so when I bake, it makes him feel good. And that’s like, the best feeling in the world. When I’m in the kitchen, measuring out the ingredients I need, or cracking the exact number of eggs, I’m in control. I get some relief in baking. It brings me feelings of joy and happiness, y’know?”

My name is Angelica Dameus, I'm a senior and this is my second year here at Santaluces. I'm optimistic and open-minded. I also think that, like math, music is a universal language. I'm obsessed with anything superhero-related. For college, I plan on getting my Associate's degree at Valencia College in Orlando, and graduating from UCF with a Bachelor's in Journalism. I love to write, and I plan to contribute nothing but my best to The Tribe.
