“Me and my family went to the Bahamas back when I was just eight years old. We traveled in the Disney Cruise to Nassau for a few days. Knowing my family, I knew we would go to a few tourist attractions. One that I remember in particular was the banana boat. Me and my mom were the only ones that went because my dad and brother had the thought of drowning looming over their heads. My mom was also scared but she was brave enough to go on. Mind you, we all had on life vests. The driver of the boat made it very fun, but then he turned and the boat flipped the raft that the other passengers and I were riding on. As my mom fell into the water, she started gasping for air and flailing her arms like she was drowning. It was hilarious because [her] nose was about a foot over the water. I just started to laugh at her as I floated to her and told her to calm down. She was screaming  and I couldn’t help but laugh at her. When we left the Bahamas we looked back at it and just laughed together.”
