I had the opportunity to interview Cherisse Harp, a peer of mine here at Santaluces Community High School. Cherisse is a bright student who makes friends with everyone around her. She has an inviting personality and always cracks jokes to lighten the mood. To get to know her better, I decided to ask her some questions.
What’s your name, and what grade are you in?
“My name is Cherisse Harp, and I’m in 12th grade.”
What extracurricular activities are you involved in? Any clubs or sports?
“I am currently not involved in any clubs, but I’m interested in joining Best Buddies and Photo Club this year! However, I am in SGA and the Medical Academy. “
What is your favorite thing about SGA?
“I love doing exciting things, like setting up decorations and creating art, and, of course, having fun and bonding with all my classmates.”
Any events in particular that you are looking forward to this year?
“I am looking forward to homecoming, grad bash, and prom!”
What are your interests/hobbies outside of school?
“I love to dance, watch anime, draw, play video games, listen to music, and dress up, I’m a bit of a fashionista.”
If you could go back to freshman year, what would you do differently?
“I would definitely get involved at school earlier on and try to make the most of all my years. High school actually goes by fast. Join as many clubs as you can manage, maybe join a sport, try new things, and make new friends.”
What do you plan to do after you graduate from high school?
“I want to go to university and pursue a degree in medicine to become an OBGYN. I want to push to become the best version of myself and stay motivated to complete all my goals.”
