Ashley Lovinsky is a well-respected student here at Santaluces Community High School. She is an outgoing student involved in many clubs and high-level classes. I decided to interview her to learn more about her interests and passions.

Ashley is a senior and is really excited for this year. When asked about what event she was most excited for, she replied with “prom!” Prom is one of the most popular events that all upperclassmen look forward to. Ashley is excited to find a beautiful dress to wear to prom and to party all night on the dance floor.

Being involved at school is very important to Ashley. She is in Best Buddies, National Art Honors Society, and Glow and Glam. I have never heard of the club Glow and Glam, so I asked her what it was about. She said, “It’s a cosmetology club.” I wasn’t surprised to hear that Ashley is in Glow and Glam, as her interests outside of school include doing her nails.

After Ashley graduates, she tells me, “I plan to go to the University of Central Florida and become a psychiatric nurse.” Ashley has a head start in the Medical field as she is a part of our medical academy here at Santaluces.

Overall, Ashley is a friendly person who is very involved in school. She is always willing to make friends and spread positivity on the campus.
