Ethan Jayne, a former member of The Tribe, is currently a first-year student at his dream school, Florida State University. The major he decided to go for is Meteorology, which is a lifelong interest that he has had. “I enjoy the student culture, the sports, and the overall look of the campus.” He graduated with the Class of 2019, being a part of the top 10 students in his class.

“I liked being involved within the campus and organizing school activities.” said Ethan when describing his time at Santaluces.

He lived through his high school years being a part of many extracurricular activities, and was an active member in Key Club, working his way up to Presidential status. He really enjoyed being an active member in SGA. Apart from that, he also enjoyed his time in the National Honor Society, Physics Club, Science National Honor Society, and Student Council.

Ethan never regretted his involvement on campus because it allowed him to meet many new people. He expressed that his favorite memory was being a part of The Tribe, “I loved working to get our site to a SNO distinguished status.”

“I like to play ping pong and pool in my dorm.” expressed Ethan on his favorite activities in college.

After graduating from Santaluces, Ethan moved on to FSU where he took up new activities and hobbies. When he is not busy in class, Ethan likes to hang out with his friends. One of his favorite activities is working out, as he gets to take advantage of the gym that FSU provides. He likes to get out as much as he can to get the most out of his college experience.

Ethan hopes to graduate with a master’s degree or a PhD, and hopes to live his lifelong dream of becoming a meteorologist.
