Cobras Take Down Chiefs

Alan McGonigle, Sports Writer

The Chiefs were trying to make a statement at Park Vistas Snake Pit during week three of the season. Unfortunately it did not go as planned.

Park Vista jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first half; turnovers in the first half were a killer. But after the turnovers, there was smooth sailing and the Chiefs were coming back. Due to some penalties, the Chiefs got two touchdowns called back for small mistakes. On the final drive, Junior Patrick Mayes threw a pass that was unfortunately intercepted by Park Vista defensive player Tyler Hoffman. Overall, the Chiefs had a 4th quarter comeback and played great but could not get the job done.

Final Score:

Park Vista: 21

Santaluces: 14
