This Friday and Saturday will be the 38th annual Palm Beach Wrestling Christmas Classic hosted by Santaluces. Over 25 different schools compete in the classic, notable schools competing are Boca Raton, Martin County, and Vero Beach.

The Chiefs should be ready to compete after months of conditioning and practice. The wrestling team is currently ranked 6th in the palm beach county rankings.

“I’m exciting for this year’s classic,” Franco said. “There’s teams competing that we have never seen wrestle.”

Michael Medio is listed on the Palm Beach County wrestlers to watch and shed light on this honor.

“This season I am focused on staying strong and healthy this season,” Medio said. “This season I am looking forward to returning as a district champion and hoping to advance to regionals.”

Notable wrestlers to watch are Michael Medio and Alex Blitzer. Keep an eye out for the freshman wrestlers, a strong performance from the underclassmen are expected.
