The rematch of the district championship took place on Tuesday night in Chief country, it was the Boca Raton Bobcats, who the Chiefs snatched the district title from last season in an intense triple OT victory on home court.

The Chiefs were fresh off of a blowout victory against Glades Central, and were looking to capitalize on that momentum Tuesday night.

In the first quarter, the Bobcats shot out into the lead, finishing the quarter with an 8 point lead that just continued to grow throughout the night.

The second quarter was not much different, the Chiefs cut into Boca’s lead after a three pointer by Junior PG Darius Dixon, who had 10 points on the night. But by halftime, Boca had a 9 point lead.

In the second half, both teams came out with the hot hand, as the Chiefs scored 28 more points, while the Boca Bobcats scored 48 more points en route to a revenge victory against the district champions.

Jordan Toussaint was the lead scorer on the night, tallying 15 points in the loss.

Next, the Chiefs will head on over to Lake Worth to play the Trojans in a potential district title game matchup.
