Hello news readers of Santaluces! My name is Yudbel Ortiz, most of the close friends I have at this school tend to call me Yud but it hasn’t really caught on outside of school. This is my first and last year in the school’s newspaper and I’m really excited to be here. I hope to be more connected with the people in my class and the school in general while being in the newspaper. I think this will be good for me because I’m not exactly a social butterfly and I see newspaper as a new way to go out into the lives of the student body and getting to know students of all social groups, backgrounds, and personal opinions. I’m a little too excited for this school year and hope to make it as great as possible!
