Senior year, your last and most impactful year of high school, deserves to be a memorable and enjoyable school year. Here at Santaluces Community High School, a senior crown is the perfect way to show your school spirit and excitement for what’s to come. It can be worn at pep rallies to show support while battling for the spirit stick or even to show excitement for your final year of high school.
Supplies:
- Acrylic paint
- Paint palette
- Paint brushes
- 2 Crowns from burger king
- Number stickers
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue sticks
- Faux fur
- 3 butterfly stickers
- C/O stickers
- 2024 stickers
- Glitter (of your choice)
How to create your own Senior Crown:
1. Gather materials
2. Pour your paint onto the palette.
3. Paint the first crown by applying 2 coats of acrylic paint.
4. Paint the second crown by applying 2 coats of acrylic paint.
5. Add glitter to the second crown before the paint dries.
6. Outline the brim of the 1st crown in white paint.
7. Glue down the number stickers in the top center areas of your crown.
8. Outline the brim of the 1st crown in white.
9. Glue the first crown down to the second crown.
10. Outline the word “senior” onto the center of the crown with a sharpie.
11. Outline your graduating year in sharpie next to “senior”.
12. Add paint onto the “senior” part of your crown and your graduating year.
13. Pour glitter onto the “senior” part of the crown and your graduating year before the paint dries.
14. Outline the “senior” part of your crown and graduating year with white paint.
15. Glue the faux fur to the bottom of the crown.
16. Paint your butterfly stickers.
17. Sprinkle glitter on the butterfly stickers before the paint dries.
18. Glue the butterfly stickers to the left side of the crown.
