If you enjoy walks while looking at great scenery, Green Cay Wetlands on 12800 Hagen Ranch Rd in Boynton Beach will be the destination for you. After you enter the proximity of the nature center, you turn either left or right and begin your walk, which is free. For photographers, Green Cay offers wide shots of wetland and possible close-ups of wildlife.

There are two trails, one called Chickee Hut Trail which is one mile, and the Tropical Hammock Trail which is a half mile. Either trail you choose will take you to a bridge overlooking 100 acres of beautiful landscapes and animals.

Some of the wildlife you could are alligators, great blue herons, Florida cooters (a type of turtle) and more. From Santaluces High School, Green Cay Wetlands and Nature Center is a ten minute drive. So take a friend or family member and enjoy what nature has to offer.
