The Be the Change club will be collecting plastic bottle caps for the charity Caps of Love. All bottle caps will be sent to a contact from a plastic recycling center to be recycled into wheelchairs for Royal Palm students in need. Collection bins are located in select teachers’ classrooms, and more bins are to be given out. By next week, Be the Change hopes to have multiple boxes in the cafeteria and the courtyard for lunchtime collection.

Caps of Love is comprised of only volunteers and is a not-for-profit organization. As a local charity, other schools such as Lantana Elementary, Seminole Ridge Elementary, and Tradewinds Middle are also supporting the cause.
