Breaking with tradition, Sophomores won this year’s Spirit Stick at the Homecoming Pep Rally. Hosted by SGA, the Pep Rally featured the Varsity Football players, swimmers, volleyball players, golfers, bowlers, and Junior and Senior Powderpuff players. The band delivered a well orchestrated sound as students rocked and swayed in unison to their triumphant brass section, powerful percussion and the soft yet mighty woodwind ensemble. During the Pep Rally the “Chief” battled Olympic Heights “Lion” on the gym floor, with Chief defeating the lion. The cheerleaders and dance team also performed to the sea of students decked out in red, black and white.
