Tacos Al Carbon, the number one go-to chill spot for after school dining in Lake Worth was robbed Sunday night. According to news reports, two men held two employees  at gunpoint.

Employees were serving food out of the food truck as someone came up in an attempt to rob the business. Both employees were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The robbers ran away from the scene. Police are looking for eye witnesses to the 2 a.m. crime.

Megan DeSouza, a student at Santaluces who is a regular at Tacos Al Carbon said, “It’s so sad because I respect them so much as a business and how far they have come.”

The business, usually open 24 hours a day, was closed early Monday, although they planned to open later in the day.
