“My favorite memory was this year on the diamond. Being a senior on the baseball team this season when we shocked the entire county and beat Boca Raton in our district semi-final game was more then anything I could have ever imagined. The whole season we struggled to win games, however, we did not let it get it us when we reached the playoffs. Everyone on the team had played well and the fact that nobody had expected us to win the game made it more memorable when we prevailed. Winning that game allowed us to go to Regionals for the first time in a few years. Although, we were defeated by Jupiter we had one of the best seasons in the past several years. From the beginning of the game we had a great tempo and the pitching and defense was huge in that game. I was proud to be a Chief.”
