Released September 24th, 2015, “Undivided” is Asking Alexandria’s latest single. This is their second track with their lead vocalist Denis Shaforostov, their first being the song “I Won’t Give In,” which they preformed during their time on the Warped Tour 2015 lineup.

When fans heard that former lead singer, Danny Worsnop, was leaving the band to pursue other opportunities and to form a new band, many were concerned about what would happen to the band, and whether the new lead singer would be a fitting replacement. According to Ben Bruce, an original member of the band and guitarist, Shaforostov was their first and only audition for the vocalist role.

“Everyone guessed it was Denis,” said Bruce in a Bryan Stars interview. “And I think they did because they know Denis was the right choice to make.”

Shaforostov’s new role in the band was announced on May 26th, 2015, with “I Won’t Give in” coming out the next day. In reference to one of the band’s songs, “Not The American Average,” Shaforostov was dubbed “Not The Ukrainian Average” in their original video for the song.

Also in their original video is a quote from Shaforostov, explaining his gratitude towards Asking Alexandria fans and the support they’ve given him.

“I feel truly blessed and proud to become a part of such an amazing family,” said Shaforostov. “You guys stick with AA through the hardest times so thank you for the faith you’ve got for Ben, Cam, Sam, James and me. I’m extremely excited to unleash the beast the new Asking Alexandria is!”

The band also had a video showing off their experience at Warped Tour, titled “Asking Alexandria – Warped Tour 2015” and published on their record label, Sumerian Record’s YouTube account.

Asking Alexandria view their fans as their family, with mottos such as “family is forever.”
