The song of the week is Deja Vu by J. Cole. This song if from his newest album “4 Your Eyez Only.” This song is a sort of love song. It’s about how a girl is seen somewhere, a club, or on the street, and a boy fantasizes about her. He talks about love at first site and having a house with her.

To me the most meaningful lines in the song are “Tell me is your house a home,” because it shows that the narrator of the song wants to provide a loving and nurturing environment for the girl he is seeing. Overall I like this song. It’s one my my favorite on the album following “Neighbors.” This is one of my favorite albums this year and would recommend giving it a listen.
